Join us as Central Valley photographer Doug Morgan gives a presentation on Architecture and Cityscape photography.  Doug will be presenting to the Mariposa Photo Club meeting on March 13, 2019.

Doug is the Morgan in Morgan/James Photography, but Doug says there is no James!  Never has been, and it’s a long story.  Doug was a CPA and corporate CFO in another era but always had an interest in photography.  Doug was mostly intrigued with light and how it can shape a scene.  Doug studied photography in college while getting a business degree.  So when he retired from the business world, he purchased a digital camera and never looked back.

Doug has shot covers for magazines, headshots for artistic and corporate use, a slew of weddings with guest lists ranging from 20 to over 600 guests in all types of venues, both indoors and out, and in all types of weather.  Doug does commercial photography, both advertising and product.  For his own portfolio, Doug has photographed landscapes.  To round out his photography addiction, Doug provides classes and training to other photographer wanting to develop their photography skills.

When he’s not photographing and talking about photography, Doug likes to spend time with his wife of almost 30 years, hike, scuba dive, ride motorcycles, do CrossFit and visit his kids in SoCal.

As you can see, Doug is an accomplished photographer and his presentation on Architecture and Cityscape photography is sure to be interesting and informative!
